SHATTER RESISTENSE

Right ok then.......... going to do a bit of a 'round up' of some stuff related to us... the most interesting of stuff there is.

FIRST THING.
That up there is the portrait of us done by Daytrotter for the session we did for them the other month. Turns out it didn't take 2 years but merely a couple of weeks for them to put it online... we've then obviously hit the ground running with it and are telling YOU about it a mere 21 days later. You can go hear it NOW HERE. It sounds coool and there is a new song in there too Aaaannd they wrote some words about us including these - " There are cheaters and there's trash to be dealt with in these trenches and Sauna Youth does so with explosive floods of piss and spit."
Too fucking right m8.

so then onto SECOND THING.
below this paragraph here is a picture of us posing our proverbial arses off in front of a wall (cool) next to the river lea (cool) in summer (super cool) for loud and quiet magazine (cool). We did an interview with them AGES ago which you can READ HERE ***warning we do talk about Oasis quite alot***
But also we interviewed Cold Pumas in the issue of L&Q after that one, in which Patrick tore apart everything in sight including us, his band mates and all the young dudes... it's a great read HERE. I think Cold Pumas have an 'extended version' on their website if you can be bothered going there.

ok, THIRD AND LAST THING.

We're playing a show before the end of the year and this is it (see below). We're super excited about having all the best bands playing and it's going to be well good... email huxleyboon@gmail.com for £5 cheaplist yeah?
INFO wot written by jenny -

SY were asked to pick a line-up and this is who we asked, so to celebrate Christmas in the best possible fashion come and see SAUNA YOUTH, VISION FORTUNE, HUMAN HAIR and EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS.

SAUNA YOUTH

This is not a dull lecture on disaffection, it is the dawning realisation in hundred-mile-an-hour downstrokes, hypnotic samples going off like permanent alarms and competing vocals.

"An evolving band of young future humans making truly irregular punk not quite comparable to anything else" - Bryony Beynon, MRR

On Dreamlands:

‘Merging krautrock influences with a real punk rock spirit, in Dreamlands the band have put together something artistic, aggressive, cohesive, energetic, intelligent, and - well - really very good’ – This Is Fake DIY

‘If there was a needlessly verbose award for Album You Are Most Likely To Play On A Loop This Year, Dreamlands would win at a canter’ – Pocket Jury

VISION FORTUNE

All worship at the trance-inducing church of Vision Fortune. You will be blinded by lights, and by music that is so awe-inspiring all other music seems pointless.

“HH are possibly the most underrated act to emerge from a recent revival in the UK's indie-punk-rock scene ...They're also one of the finest live bands you are ever likely to catch on the London circuit." - Andy Auld, Sex Is Disguisting
